I, my wife, my daughters 15 and 6 years old slept in the tent a few times for a week comfortably enough as for camping. However, it depends on your fit. We all are fit. I am the tallest and the heaviest person among us: 180 cm, 75 kg. My height fits the tent exactly from border to border. If you are taller then you will need to bend your knees a bit which might be not comfortable. I was totally ok, no need to bend. 8/10 Stars

This tent looks like it would be good for a family but I'm wondering since the description says four person if that means four people can sleep in it comfortably. I'd also like to know how portable this tent is. I have a favorite hiking spot that allows for people to put up a tent 2 miles away from where the cars are parked. I think 8 lbs should not be too heavy but I would like to know if it is ergonomically designed to feel comfortable hauling it along. The description says it is rainproof so I assume it will hold up in heavy winds as well. My wife would like to know if this is a good fit for a couple with two children.

Thanks

2017 Jeep Cherokee

I have amassed a long list of products requiring my attention. The first is the new 2017 Jeep Cherokee. I suppose it falls under the category of outdoor gear. I traded in the Subaru Crosstrek for it in order to get more horsepower out of this v6 Pentastar engine model. It certainly has more horsepower, at the expense of gas mileage of course. I've had some undiagnosed issues with the transmission but Jeep has been very responsive in trying to get the issue solved. Other than that, I like the look of the vehicle more from the front than the back, interior options which are standard on most SUV's are not standard with the new Cherokee, for example, a backup camera and automatic headlights. Other than that I think it's a capable semi-offroad vehicle. The Trailhawk model is of course trail rated with it's extra inch of ground clearance, better crawl ratio, true 4x4 low, and tow hooks. I'll have a more detailed review of it shortly.
